Lana Khamash
Research & Design Associate
Lana Khamash researches and applies best practices that center healing justice and self-determination in responding to the everyday realities that NYC social service providers face. With a commitment to community-centered practice, she helps integrate a co-design framework and evidence into the Academy's learning programs, particularly in Trauma-Informed Organizational Practice. Prior to joining the Academy, Lana managed capacity building and community-based research at the Arab-American Family Support Center. She combines this perspective with an academic research background in behavioral health and psychology from the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Lana holds a BA in psychology and business management from Columbia University.
